Some notes on volunteering -

Please note that we do not guarantee any of these external, local organizations will have volunteer opportunities. It’s worth noting that these centers likely accept and appreciate donations, if volunteering is not available.

Not every raptor center houses a vulture, and not every volunteer opportunity implies direct involvement with a raptor or vulture. However, we at CAFE Vulture believe conservation efforts and wildlife centers still have a common goal of bettering life on Earth for humans and its other native inhabitants, so fostering a caring community that looks beyond just vultures, raptors, and birds and instead to all ecological and environmental issues is important. Ecological conservation is complicated, and issues often overlap across efforts and species. Lastly, many wildlife conservation centers rely heavily on volunteers, therefore we encourage you to get involved through organized efforts like the following, or through individual, personal efforts (see bottom of the page).

Please be patient as we add more volunteer centers across the US and Canada. If there’s a raptor center or volunteer opportunity you think we missed, please reach out and let us know.
